I write them down. Their names are not captured, nor is the date or time of day. If the words are wrapped in quotation marks, someone else said it. If there are no quotation marks, I said it or thought it.
This has been an ongoing project for fourteen years and there are 97 notebooks which will be catalogued. These quotes are, in a way, photographs of moments whose context will forever be lost in conversations we hardly remember.
The purpose of presenting these quotes this way is a two part challenge:
To see if I can remember who said what
To see if people I know or met can
